Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide security for patients, employees, and visitors; protect hospital building, assets, and premises as assigned.

Qualifications

MUST be a CERTIFIED PEACE OFFICER. REQUIRED.

Associate degree in criminal justice law enforcement or related field preferred.

One year previous experience in security operations.

CPR updated annually.

Patient restraint inservice.

Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with no record of DUI, DWI, or similar alcohol or drug related offenses over the past 5 years. In addition, there will be no record of reckless driving, careless driving, speeding over 15 miles above the speed limit, fleeing or eluding a police officer, chemical test refusal, leaving the scene of an accident, driving after revocation or suspension, or passing a stopped school bus in the last 5 years.

All drivers must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.

No new driver will be hired with a borderline or poor Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
