Job Description

Responsible for performing Non Destructive Testing utilizing X-ray, liquid penetrants, (FARS, RSM, SBs, ADs, etc). Evaluates inspection data, interprets Inspection findings/results, and records inspection results on approved documents. Works under general supervision and the technical support of a Level III. Must maintain certification(s) of a level II in X-ray and liquid penetrant. Evaluate the results of all inspedtions performed using NDT processes to the level of certification held. Maintain accurate records of inspection for all NDT processes. Perform process checks/audits on all materials and equipment used in NDT processes. Clean and calibrate equipment per schedules.

Requirements

Associate's/Technical Degree in NDT or related field (2 years experience in lieu of degree in a related field) Certification in x-ray (1600 hours) and flourescent penetrant inspection (400 hours) required 1+ years experience in aerospace preferred Previous experience working with braze and weld joints preferred EOE D/M/F/V
