Our internship program is structured to provide you with "real" work and also the opportunity to learn more about the many facets of Alliant Energy and your profession.

Alliant Energy currently has an internship opportunity for Fall 2011 at the Burlington Generating Station. This position will be responsible for office administration, Maximo projects, EmPower program updates, keeping the plant library updated and organized, maintaining the time entry tracking system, and various projects as assigned. An undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Business, Communication or General Studies is preferred. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and be highly self-motivated.
