Position Description The North American Rolled Products (NARP) Information Services Department supports day to day operations and enables the strategies of our headquarters, sales and manufacturing locations by applying both business and technical knowledge to deliver required business solutions.

We deliver results through strong partnerships with our business unit and location leaders, our customers at the locations, and our external or corporate service providers.

The primary purpose of the Sr. Staff Business Process Analyst, initially location in Davenport, Iowa, is to act as a leader to implement change in support the NARP business strategies. This role provides in-depth knowledge in cross functional business areas that span multiple computing environments or locations. This is an internal consulting role that works with business process owners to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvements that enable added business value in a cost effective manner.

Major Activities:
Applies business knowledge, technical skills, leadership and project management skills to lead complex problem solving and large process and/or system projects that have a significant business impact.
Identifies, evaluates and implements business processes and systems that impact multiple plants and functional areas to support business objectives.
Leads multi-functional or multi-disciplined teams for significant projects and directs project resources.
Provide guidance to Dept Managers for specific functional areas.
Develops an in-depth understanding of the business processes in their area(s) of assignment, and a general understanding of the NARP business.
Uses or directs individuals to use a combination of leading edge information technologies along with existing legacy tools to deliver solutions to meet business needs.
Interacts with systems or business process analysts and BU business process owners, user experts and Department Managers.
Operates within and influences IS standards and conventions and promotes adherence within the IS organization
Pursues continuous learning consistent with changes in technology, and uses this to influence IS direction
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or four year degree with IS related experience.
Minimum of 8 years Information Systems / Information Technology experience.
Proficiency in systems analysis and design.
Proficiency in information systems project management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience working with cross-functional teams, presenting solutions both verbally and through written communications.
Preferred Qualifications Technical proficiency in any of the following areas is desired: Oracle Applications, Web Development, Relational Databases, SQL, and Procedural Programming (Oracle PL/SQL)
Experience in establishing relationships with both internal and external customers.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
