Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description:

We are currently looking for a heavy equipment operator for our client in Des Moines, IA. Our client is a general contractor specializing in underground utility work.

The heavy equipment operator is involved with all aspects of construction. The heavy equipment operator will be driving a wide arrange of equipment involved with construction such as skid loaders, backhoes, and dozers . The heavy equipment operator must be available to work long hours and holidays to meet deadlines.

Qualifications
-Previous experience driving heavy equipment
-Construction experience
-Good driving record
-Strong work ethic
-Previous excavator experience required
